Deborah Carlisle Solomon is a leading expert in the development and care of infants and toddlers Author of the book Baby Knows Best: Raising a Confident and Resourceful Child the RIE® Way, Deborah discovered RIE soon after her son was born. She was so deeply moved by founder Magda Gerber’s Educaring®Approach that she decided to change careers to study infant and toddlerdevelopment, which she did at RIE and at the Pikler Institute in Budapest,Hungary.
Deborah spent eight years serving as the ExecutiveDirector of Resources for Infant Educarers® (RIE®), a non-profit world-widemembership organization dedicated to improving the quality of infant care andeducation.
